Amenities at the Smith House.docx

Smith House, Smith House Sign and ExerciseRoom. The Smith House is Princeton Landing's club house where social eventsand meetings of the board and committees are held. Bridge clubs regularly meet there aswell. An exercise room contains a treadmill,two exercise bikes and an elliptical bike. An outdoor garden is host to many community social gatherings. Residents may rent the facilities for privateparties.


   




Smith House Swimming Pool, Kiddie Pool,Bike Rack. Located next to the Smith House is one of two swimming pools atPrinceton Landing open to all residents. At this one there is also a fenced in kiddie pool. Many pool chairs and several cabanas are usedto relax and absorb the sun between lane swimming and dips in the pool. Residents use a bike rack when riding bikesto the pool.






Tennis Courts. Ambitiously, the Fourtennis courts were painted to match those at the US Open in Flushing! During the spring, summer and fall the courtsare busy with lesson, practice and matches for residents.






Basketball and Handball Courts. Located next to the tennis courts are two half basketball courts are separated by a wall that also serves as a handball court. 

Tot Lot. In parcel I, a Tot Lot is nextto the second swimming pool with a bench for supervising parents andgrandparents.






 

Gazebo. The Gazebo on the loop roadserves as a pick-up point for school buses and meeting place for commuters.


Walkways and Roads. The loop road is aone-mile long oval from which the twelve parcels are situated. Sidewalks line this road and trailstransverse some of the parcels. Everydaybikers and walkers take advantage of them. Adjacent to Princeton Landing is a trail within a wooded area owned byPrinceton University and called "The Ramble". Many residents enjoy the soundsof nature and the tranquility of this secluded trail. Princeton Landing is adjacent to CarnegieLake and the tow path which runs the length of the Delaware-Raritan Canal. Walkers and bikers regularly travel along thetow path observing the Princeton Scull races and fireworks.
